With Analog Code plugins, that coveted SPL sound can now be right inside your DAW.Īctivate the fully functional 14-day demo with your Plugin Alliance account today to hear for yourself (no dongle required)! Features With the growth of computer based audio systems, the need for the SPL sound in the form of a plugin has also grown. SPL hardware products can be found in the world’s most renowned facilities, and have become a staple for audio professionals ranging from home studio owners to top mastering engineers. And thus, SPL’s Analog Code brand was born. The phrase quickly became associated with SPL to such a degree that the company decided it was the perfect name for their digital product line.

A perfect alternative to noise gates! With the De-Verb Plus Microplug, the decay period is shortened more musically compared to fixed release times – within seconds a drum set is significantly freed from unwanted room info. Adjust the apparent “distance” of the microphone by simply varying the Reverb Reduction value.

Reduce tom tom ring without physically damping them. Shorten the sustain period of a snare in a very musical way. This, combined with the onboard peak limiter and dry/wet control, ensure a simple and safe adjustment of levels while avoiding internal clipping and shaping the decay characteristics of your sound. The De-Verb Plus also offers an output gain control that allows compensation for level changes after processing the signal. This translates to endless possibilities for studio and live applications! Decay curves of any sound event can be reduced very simply, with just the turn of a single knob. Working with the De-Verb Plus is disarmingly simple: All reverb events can be reduced – regardless of their signal level. And with over a decade of hardware modeling experience, Brainworx has impregnated the De-Verb Plus with a core algorithm that matches the behavior of the original Transient Designer unit closer than ever before.

With just one knob that allows the decay of a sound to be reduced or even eliminated, De-Verb Plus also sports a soft peak limiter and a dry/wet control, allowing total flexibility across a wide range of content and a worry-free workflow in the digital world. It uses the same processing technique, known as Differential Envelope Technology, which revolutionized dynamic processing with its level-independent methodology. This is particularly useful when automating the the plugin off & on through a mix.The SPL De-Verb Plus Microplug delivers part of the same magical envelope shaping provided by the original Transient Designer hardware, replicating the attenuation provided by the Sustain knob that shortens the decay of your sounds. The internal bypass parameter in the Orbit has been smoothed for pop free bypassing. Often times, bypassing a plugin directly in your DAW will create popping artifacts. Using the mix this way allows you to add character to the original signal. This is very useful when you want the sound of an extreme boost without the huge additional gain. The mix parameter allows you to use the Orbit much the same as you would use parallel compression. Usually this means you want to use the slow(left) setting for low frequency material like kick-drums and low synths, the medium(middle) setting for mid frequency material like snare-drums and guitars, and the fast(right) setting for high frequency material like hi-hats, rim clicks and claps. The mode feature lets you adjust Orbit’s algorithm to target slow, medium or fast transients. Orbit uses a combination of logarithmic style envelope followers, allowing you to boost the transients of percussive instruments like beats, drums and percussion as well as rhythmical guitar and synth parts. A word of caution… Always check your levels before diving the boost too hard, your ears, monitors and neighbours will thank you for it. The boost parameter will increase the intensity of the effect, and can deliver very subtle boosts, to extreme overdrive. The Orbit is a simple & lightweight tool that will help boost your transients and add bite to your mixes, and whilst the interface may be basic, don’t let that fool you, under the hood you’ll find the same DSP used in our Velo limiter, making the Orbit, a powerful little tool to add to your plugin arsenal. Transients are the life force of modern music, and sometimes when your instruments just won’t pop in the mix after Eq and compression, then it’s time to reach for a transient designer.
